Found on the beach, 9/21/09. Hauled away in a rusty truck. Very beautiful. Some idiot tried to get his picture taken pulling up the creature's snout, to reveal a mouthful of sharky teeth. Sorry, this fella has big eyes, not big teeth. He looked the fool, and there was a murmur of disapproval from the little crowd that had gathered to take pictures with their cells phones and so forth. The shark remained beautiful. Its tail was very long. The beach is littered with little stinky dead fishes and many gulls too full of rotting fish to get off the ground. High high tides. Beautiful but weird hot weather, an east wind fighting off the cool mist. Brilliant starry nights and a little gold crescent moon.
